Construction is underway in Laguana Phuket, where the current Hilton Garden Inn is being transformed and rebranded as Mamaka by Hilton Tapestry. Modeled after its sister property in Kuta, Bali, Mamaka Phuket will be the new cool kid in the block. Expected to open by the end of 2026, the irreverent hotel will offer full services with the addition of a new spa and a rooftop specialty restaurant.

While S+A’s interior designers work on a variety of hotel projects, our architects have been busy master planning the extension of the Wesley Internation School in Nakorn Ratchasima and designing the first phase of its expansion – a dual-purpose secondary facilities and a gymnasium building. As always with educational projects, the focus was on child safety, practicality and developing a stimulating learning environment.

Being built from the ground up, Movenpick Kamala will offer 197 keys and comprehensive facilities. The hotel is expected to welcome its first guest by the end of 2026. It is conveniently located in the Mont Azur development.

S+A has signed its first project in the Philippines! The project is a refurbishment and rebranding of a 40-storey hotel building in Ortigas district of Manila into an Ascott!

Mama Shelter is arriving in Bangkok and will be the largest in the world with 570 keys in a 50-stories tower. S+A has been appointed to work in collaboration with the Mama Sheter design studio of Paris, and the Ennismore team of Singapore to realize this ambitious project.

After 4 years of design and construction, through a worldwide pandemic and during a global economic slowdown, S+A is super proud to open Tribe Phnom Penh Post Office Square.
Tribe is a lifestyle upscale brand from Accor Hotel & Resort, and Tribe Phnom Penh is the first to be established in South-East Asia. The riverfront-located hotel offers 260 keys that are complimented by expansive public facilities including a rooftop restaurant and bar (Hemisphere) that enjoys spectacular views over the city and the Mekong river. As a mixed-use development, its ground floor also offer a variety of F&B propositions.
S+A was responsible for the architectural, interior, and structural designs of the project.

Outrigger Hotels and Resorts opens its 3rd property in Thailand after over a year in the works. Located at Lamai beach in Koh Samui, the resort offers 142 colonial-style guestrooms, an all-day restaurant, kids and games zones, a fitness and an executive lounge called Voyager 47 Club. Furthermore, the resort introduces the Edgewater family beach club concept, located at the beachfront facing the Gulf of Thailand.
S+A, together with PLDesign for the landscape, led the design while ACHM handled the project management and quantity surveying.

S+A is appointed to design a new 35-storeys tower in downtown Phnom Penh. The hotel will be operated by an international operator under an upper mid-scale brand. It will offer 200 keys with extensive public facilities, including a rooftop swimming pool and bar – the highest in the city/country.

Following the acquisition and an extensive rebranding refurbishment, Outrigger Khao Lak Beach Resort is officially opened. The property offers 158 rooms, suites and villas and a choice of restaurants and bars including the beachfront dining at Edgewater.
The design is inspired by the local environment and aims for guests to feel a seamless connection between the sea, sand and the green tropical landscape.

Following the acquisition and an extensive rebranding refurbishment, Outrigger Surin Beach Resort is officially opened.
The 60-key resort is a lifestyle property that draws inspiration from the destination’s easy-going surf culture.
The interior evokes the tropical beach life in Phuket and the surf scene at Surin Beach. Features such as the colorful murals, vintage artworks and reclaimed wood combine to create a vibrant, laid-back and locally relevant experience.

After over 3 years of planning and construction, the ICS Udon Thani Campus is finally opened!
The campus offers 20 classrooms in 2 academic wings, an administrative building, a cafetorium/multipurpose hall, a gymnasium with swimming pools, a soccer field along with generous outdoor spaces.
The school is designed to international standards with emphasis on quality learning environment, practicality and safety for students, family, and staff.
This first phase of the campus will accommodate up to 300-400 students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Planned expansions will add a library, a fine arts building, additional gymnasium, and academic wings as well as staff housing.
S+A was responsible for the master planning, architecture, interior, structure and MEP designs.

Grand Mercure Yangon Golden Empire, the first Grand Mercure in the country receives Myanmar Property Awards for best hotel interior design and best hotel development. The hotel opened its doors in 2018.

Bangkok Trading Post opens the third branch in Mercury Ville Shopping Center in Ploenchit, Bangkok. While sharing the same design DNA as its sister properties, the Mercury branch emphasizes on the deli/take away offerings to cater to urbanites and office workers.

Roots Signature Restaurant won the 2019 World Luxury Restaurant Award for its unique luxury experience. This organic fine dining restaurant offers locally grown organic products and the menu combines nutritious, healthy and flavorful balanced dishes. Roots is located at the Sofitel Inle Lake Resort in the “Lake Pavilion” with unobstructed views to the tranquil lake and surrounding mountains.

Following the success of the original Bangkok Trading Post (BTP) at the 137 Pillars Hotel in Sukhumvit 31, S+A is proud to open a second branch in Nanglinchee Market Place in Bangkok. Unlike its sister-property, this new branch is now a standalone F&B venue dissociated from a hotel operation. More to come!
